Job Description

As a Solutions Architect - Financial Services with Frost, you will be responsible for the life cycle of system architecture for IT business solutions from planning through delivery. Responsibilities will include architecting and designing solutions to solve business problems in alignment with enterprise architecture standards for infrastructure and applications, assist in evaluation and selection of third party solutions ensuring solutions meet both business needs and Frost standards. In addition, communicate designs and solutions to management and stake holders and collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and business stakeholders to resolve timeline and project scope concerns.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of experience in designing and overseeing the delivery of business applications to support financial services
• Having a good understanding and knowledge of application architecture, data architecture, network architecture and security architectures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

Preferred:

• Familiarity with designing, deploying, and administering applications in cloud-based systems such as SaaS, PaaS, and/or IaaS
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and industry models (TOGAF, ITIL and BIAN)
