Job Description:
The Executive Meetings & Webcasting Engineering team is responsible for executive conferencing and webcasting solutions at Bank of America. Our products are used daily by Senior Leaders in the Bank, company town halls and Line of Business events ranging from small scale sessions to large scale events that are feature rich, white glove, accessible and scalable.
The candidate will be responsible for engineering, certifying and onboarding webcasting and live events application(s) from inception to production.

  • Deliver solutions based on business requirements or defined standards within the technology organization.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Webcasting and Live Events solutions into the Bank environment.
  • Consult with Lines of Business as a subject matter expert (SME) for Webcasting and Live Events solutions.
  • Meet with business to define requirements, demonstrate solutions, and collect feedback.
  • Develop solutions that incorporate user requirements, system functionality, and support considerations to deliver a fully functional end to end user experience.
  • Oversee risk, audit, and compliance items in the space, drive solutions, and monitor to closure.
  • Assess the resource requirements for deployments, secure resources, and drive to completion.
  • Provide feedback to Architecture and Product teams as to the catalog of standard products, and business requirements for changes to the catalog.
  • Communicate with a wide range of teams related to Webcasting and Live Events solutions and deployments.
  • Interact with partner teams on process improvement and knowledge development to improve service.
  • Ability to describe issues, escalate, and articulate impact to affected users and leadership as needed.
  • Engages in high severity production incidents and problem tickets in support of any RTC redesign requirements.
  • Facilitate the resolution of proactive/reactive problems across multiple teams inside and outside of RTC.
  • Notify, escalate and communicate to senior management the existence and status of outages, as necessary.
  • Partner with the Problem Management team to ensure root cause, preventative measures, and lessons learned are captured in the Problem Management system of record.


Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge on webcasting, live streaming and peering technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with delivery of WebRTC based applications.
  • A thorough understanding of complex infrastructure (servers, network, firewalls, applications).
  • A thorough understanding on streaming protocols, voice and video QoS statistics, latency, jitter, packet lost, MOS, frame bit rate, bandwidth.
  • A thorough understanding of optimization technology such as hardware acceleration and virtual machine client plugins.
  • Ability to read and investigate application crash dumps.
  • Knowledge of headset and camera technology, peripheral driver, firmware and features.
  • Knowledge of Splunk, Power Shell, ProcMon, Fiddler, CM, Remedy, Jira and other tools to assist in Root Cause Analysis.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Access to assist in data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Powerpoint to create effective presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Visio to create engineering deployment documentation.


Desired Skills

  • 3-5 years of engineering and deployment experience of webcasting products such as OpenExchange, VeraCast, On24, Kollective Peering and Kaltura CDN.
  • BS or BA in engineering or computer science, or 5-10 Years of experience in technology field.
  • Experience in financial industry is preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills in a high pace, highly technical solutions environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of customers and leadership.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and respond under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, including attention to detail, and ability to determine effective course of action as required.
  • Ability to thoroughly review, understand and interpret technology updates for applicability in the environment we support.
  • Strong presentation skills and be able to communicate at the right level of details.
  • Demonstrate ability to implement, drive and track projects.
  • Ability to maintain an optimistic, flexible attitude in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated and results driven.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional service to clients.

Jersey City pay range:
$90,000 - $135,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
