Job Description:
As a member of Solution Architecture Team, your software engineering skills will be utilized to build best in breed strategic platform to service claims processing for our retail, small business, and commercial customers covering diverse set of products such as digital payments, credit card activity and checks. You will be joining a group of enthusiastic, driven and seasoned solution architects who lead the efforts for defining the technology architecture strategy for our next generation claims applications. You will collaborate with and work closely with enterprise architecture teams, development teams, and Claims Operations and Product teams in an Agile environment to shape the technology landscape payment transaction claims. Your team collaboration experience will aid you facilitating solution driven discussions, lead the design for simplification of complex architectures, and find creative solutions through practical experiments and POCs.
As a key member of the solutions architecture team, you will:

  • Utilize your deep experience in technology transformation, solution architecture and Agile methodology to drive the organization towards best practices and technologies such as Java, MuleSoft, Pega, scalability and building reusable components.
  • Collaborate with and work closely with enterprise architecture teams, development teams, and the business ( Claims Operations and Product teams) to shape the technology landscape payment transaction claims.
  • Exercise your key collaboration skills to work with business and technology organizations to align technology strategy to business strategy and help define architecture that modernize our technology, optimize business processes, and enable the business to compete in the evolving emerging environment.
  • Provide technical direction and lead the definition of architecture strategy for a claims product and associated platforms. In addition, you will use extensive design and architecture experience to ensures architecture solutions are flexible, modular, and meets enterprise requirements for security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability.
  • Build alliances with both internal and external stakeholders to gain support and buy-in on ideas. Partners effectively with business stakeholders and leverages industry knowledge.


Required Skills:

  • Experience leading large scale applications some of which should be hands on experience using Java, Pega, Mulesoft or .Net technologies
  • Strong analytics and communication skills including ability to drive diverse group towards common goals and clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions
  • Ability to balance need-to-deliver while maintaining architectural standards
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models
  • Continuous learner with good understanding of new technology trends and ability to promote innovative solutions
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology management

Pay and benefits information
Jersey City pay range:
$83,800 - $157,400 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
