Position Overview:

As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will work with clients to understand their needs while collaborating with other ATG'ers build out the technical solution. You will participate in solution design and focus on hands-on build work.

You are an experienced consultant with a vast knowledge of Salesforce's platform and are depended on by our customers for technical vision and proactive and strategic advice. You have the confidence and experience to lead a project by driving conversations with clients and delegating tasks to team members throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Business Analyst for requirements gathering (owns fully when no Business Analyst is assigned to the project) and own the overall functional and technical design of the application, mapping client business requirements to systems specific declarative work needed on the Salesforce platform.
  • Work as a team leader along with the Project Manager, Technical Architect and supporting team members to deliver the complete solution for the customer.
  • Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with Business Analyst, Technical Architect, and other Solution Architects.
  • Share best practices and be consultative to clients throughout the duration of the project.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Architect and/or Development team to produce technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements.
  • Provide current best practice and third-party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document.
  • Support of UAT efforts along with QA resource and Project Manager
  • Lead client through training effort, creating training decks, demos, and documentation as needed.
  • Participate and lead, when needed, project meetings with the customer.
  • Average of 10% travel, up to 25%, to client locations throughout the U.S.

Skills, Experience, and Requirements:

Required:

  • 3 years of hands-on Salesforce configurations experience
  • Prior experience gathering and documenting requirements, designing, and documenting technical solutions, and conducting user training sessions.
  • Advanced knowledge/experience working with and creating automations using Process Builder, Flows, and Lighting App Builder etc.
  • Experience designing and delivering a training program tailored to clients' needs

Preferred

  • 2 years' experience consulting with mid to large enterprises.
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile (Scrum) project methodologies.
  • Active SFDC Certifications (ex: System Administrator, Advanced System Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or other SFDC certification also acceptable).

Education:

  • 4-year degree in a technical or business field of study preferred

Location and Travel:

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10-25% (subject to change at any time based off project demands)
  • Remote
