Overview

The Squires Group has a direct hire opportunity for a Software / Test Engineer to join a Federal Project in Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will serve as a cross-functional team member responsible for the validation of software development and maintenance activities supporting the SAP HANA platform. Per our Client Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and have an Active TS/SCI with FS Poly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers to develop test approach and test cases
• Execute and document manual and automated testing
• Review and analyze test results across integration, regression, performance, and user testing activities
• Ensure quality and improvement throughout the software development life cycle

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting software testing and quality assurance efforts
• Per our Client Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and have an Active TS/SCI with FS Poly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with SQL scripting
• Experience with automated testing
• Knowledge of performance/stress testing of platforms with large datasets
• Experience with SAP HANA and/or business intelligence tools (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI)
