What you'll achieve

As a Software System Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise applications on top of various Dell EMC infrastructure solutions. Plan and execute the test plan to ensure our products meeting enterprise level customer expectations. You will work with various product business units to gain deep knowledge about how each product is designed and how these products are working together to address our customer needs.

You will:

• Engage with different business units to understand how each product is designed and tested
• Involved in solution design to build an enterprise customer like datacenter environment and build different application solutions on top of the system under test
• Provide tech-book or cook-book for customer to deploy DELLEMC products in different solutions.
• Create automation scripts to develop and manage testing solution in a scalable and efficient manner

Essential Requirements

• In-depth knowledge on either one of following operating systems and solutions - Microsoft Windows/VMware/Linux
• Experienced user or administrator of any Dell EMC/3rd party storage array product. Familiar with Host to SAN connectivity (SAN switches, zoning, LUN masking) and network protocols like TCP/IP, FC, iSCSI, FCoE, NVMe, etc.
• Experience on enterprise level application solutions such as Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, Exchange, SAP, etc.
• Experience on system testing and troubleshooting

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent and 5+ years relevant experience
• Experience on scripting/programming or mainstream Cloud solutions experience is a plus, e.g. AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack and etc.
