About the team:
The team you would be joining is a mixed team of 5 US based staff who have been with this team for between 2.5 and 9 years. As well as 8 India based staff that have been with this team between 1 and 3.25 years. We are a close team that work on our projects both together and separately, depending on complexity and the team members experience and the urgency of the request.
Job Description:
Map all data elements from the file to variables or arrays into our interface
Create the forms inside of the HP Exstream software, Checks and Electronic advices, including the invoice details, dynamic letters / attachments
Package and test these resources in the FIS job management system
Verify the FIS job management system setup and configuration
Providing technical support and troubleshooting, resolving issues escalated by client or project teams
Implementing and supporting best practices in version control, software development Review the client data file and validate it against the record layout to determine if all data elements are present needed for the payment type of choice
life cycle management, build management, and deployment management
Working closely with project and technical leads in order to solve technical and procedural roadblocks and meet client deliverables
Maintaining source control repositories using configuration management strategies
Creating and maintaining technical documentation (we have an extensive knowledgebase!)
Participating in special projects and performs other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
Desired Qualifications:
Able to learn from team members in a fast paced work environment where multiple projects are ongoing simultaneously
Advanced analytic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve new problems creatively
Proficient critical thinking skills with the ability to apply existing knowledge to solve new challenges
Ability to own a problem and lead it through to resolution
Coordinate resolution activities with other groups across systems and platforms so they occur using our principles, procedures and techniques
Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing Agile environment
Comfortable working in a production support environment with the ability to respond to requests under tight deadlines in a dynamic working environment
Must be well organized, self-motivated and self-directed excellent customer service skills
Good communication both written and orally, with the ability to effectively discuss technical topics with both technical and non-technical audiences (project managers, quality assurance, developers, business analysts, architects, etc)
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team to meet deliverables and learn new processes and techniques
The ideal candidate would also bring knowledge of FIS products and services and/or knowledge of our client's(banks) business functions and technology needs
