Vivify Health is currently seeking a Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality of platform comprised of web and mobile applications. The web applications are developed in C#, ASP.NET, MVC with a SQL Server-backend. The mobile applications are native Android (Java) and iOS (Object C) apps interaction with the web app via RESTful API. As a QA Engineer, you will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle from requirements, to design, to development, to testing, and implementation.
This position is very hands-on and requires a willingness to work as part of a cohesive team. All team members are expected to keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and frameworks.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Support team to triage customer reported support issues
• Coordinate production upgrades with Dev Ops
• Manage production patches and critical bug fixes
• Effectively document and communicate defects found during the product lifecycle
• Design and execute SQL queries for data validation and test execution
• Design and execute effective test plans and test cases
• Perform white, black box and exploratory testing
• Ensure that the product meets or exceeds all predefined quality standards
• Maintain knowledge of current test methodologies
• IIS/Windows Server experience a plus
• Familiarity with SQL Server or other popular web databases

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4+ years of experience testing .Net, SQL and Web services
• 4+ years of experience in accessing data from SQL server or relevant database server
• 2+ years of experience in context-based, exploratory, or scenario based testing creating and executing test plans, test cases, and ability to derive automation scenarios from minimal documentation
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing test automation frameworks, test harnesses, and test scripts using commercial test tools
• 2+ years of experience with design and implement automated load tests for database-backed applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with open source tools such as Appium, Protractor, and Selenium
• Experience with Android or iPhone development
• Experience with Android or iPhone development
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr test case management software
• Ability to understand relational database design existing data models and database structure
• Understanding of client-side development technologies, including JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, HTML, and CSS
• Knowledge of testing RESTful web services

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400.
