Micron is looking for a Software QA engineer to lead testing of all software capabilities associated with the Authenta Service. As the Software QA Engineer for Authenta, you will be responsible for testing all components of Authenta including all Authenta hardware device Software Development Kit support, the Authenta Cloud Platform, and the Authenta Portal Application.
You will also be testing how Authenta interacts with multiple systems to validate the services communicate properly. You will be automating new and existing test cases in an existing codebase as well as run test cases manually. Lastly, you will be responsible for software performance metrics for the Authenta Cloud Platform to ensure that it meets all expected quality of service metrics.
Responsibilities

  • Design test plans based on product specifications
  • Develop testing standards and metrics
  • Documentation (technical specifications, test plans, deployment plans, etc.)
  • Develop internal tools and evaluate commercial and open-source tools to facilitate the testing process
  • Test, evaluate, and refine the testing process
  • Implement automated testing solutions
  • Complete integration and user acceptance testing
  • Generate and track metrics on test cases and test results
  • Document defects in issue tracking system
  • Coordinate with the development team and external vendors to resolve issues
  • Communicate status updates and testing efforts to product stakeholders and management


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Software QA experience for web applications, API/Web Service platforms, and embedded systems
  • Web security testing experience is a plus
  • HW device testing experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of PKI is a plus
  • Familiar with Agile processes and automated testing
  • Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Bamboo, Appium, and Jenkins
  • Automated testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Cypress, and other tools
  • Experience with test case management tools
  • Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira
  • Experience with Git for version control
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Web technologies and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, and Angular
  • A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Ability to facilitate training
