Software QA Engineer II

TigerConnect - the leading provider of HIPAA compliant messaging and workflow optimization tools for the healthcare industry - is seeking an experienced Software Quality Professional to join our team in our newly established satellite office in Mexico. As a remote employee initially, this individual’s primary responsibilities will be developing test plans, executing testing, evaluating and reporting test results, performing automation scripting to support multiple platforms, and generating measures to ensure the highest level of product quality.
The QA Engineer II will work on mobile and web applications from an end-to-end perspective and will work cross-functionally with an integrated team of developers, product managers, project managers and designers for test planning, test development, product verification, validation and participating in automation efforts.
What You'll Own:
- Analyze user stories and technical requirements for validity and proper user experience
- Develop and write software test plans that cover functional and performance testing both at an integration and system level
- Perform functional testing at an Integration, System, and User Acceptance level
- Participate in automation and provide recommendations to continually improve QA processes
- Partner with the development team throughout the lifecycle of software development from requirements gathering to live support
- Participate in the defect workflow for your team
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve our testing processes across multiple platforms
- Perform testing on various mobile devices, web applications and operating systems
What You Bring to the Table:
- Strong experience in mobile application testing (previous experience or familiar with web testing)
- Working experience with Automation Frameworks, Tools and languages (i.e. Appium, javascript, Jenkins, Sauce Labs)
- Familiar with Xcode and Android studio for emulators use
- Working experience of API automation and ability to create methods that utilize the product APIs
- Ability to develop, write and execute test plans and test cases based on design specifications and requirements
- Experience with debugging tools (e.g.Charles)
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and TestRail
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Energy and positivity to contribute to the TigerConnect culture
- Work autonomously on assigned tasks
- Strong desire to learn and take ownership of new tasks and challenges outside of their immediate skill set
- Familiarity or understanding of system architecture as it relates to testing and collaboration processes
What You’ve Accomplished:
- 2+ Years of mobile and web software testing experience along with participating in automation
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience in Agile Scrum Development Model
- Hands-on, proactive, results-oriented and able to operate effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced work environment
