Join Team SAIC and support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC DEVCOM), Command Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center.
Science Application International Corporation (SAIC) in support of the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) Technology Enabled Analytics (TEA) contract and Task Order is seeking multiple qualified and cleared candidates in support of the CCDC DEVCOM C5ISR Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate. The TEA team has in-depth experience in providing expertise to support research, development, assessment, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstration, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of the designated information and/or intelligence software systems.
These positions are contingent upon award which is expected in May 2022 with a start date in June. These dates are submit to change based on the actual award date.
This is a full time hybrid position. Will work most days virtually, but must be able to travel to Aberdeen, MD (sometimes on short notice) for meetings, etc. when required by customer. Prefer candidate live in the Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia metro area, Delaware, Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software. Conducts analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting. End product may be special use, customized, or commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs. Ensures software standards are met. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY: Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Work is reviewed by management to measure whether objectives have been met.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with minimum 7 years of experience with extensive knowledge of programming algorithms, design patterns, and object oriented software design in:
- Creating and modifying applications by converting software requirements into code
- Designing, coding and debugging applications in different software languages
- Analyzing software code, risks, and reliability
- Writing new program codes using prescribed specifications
- Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and implementing solutions using software design patterns, style guides, and best practices
- Writing code to implement functionality and perform full testing cycles
- Collaborating with developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing and developing of new software programs and applications
- Performing detail analysis of design, implementation, and derived code
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
- Must have an active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI
- TS/SCI is preferred
Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
