The role is based in San Diego with our infrastructure engineering team that closely collaborates with engineers across our global organization, particularly with teams in the Bay Area and London

Key Qualifications
Experience with large scale cloud based development
Experience with Web UI development a bonus
Experience with CI/CD processes, technologies and methodologies
Experience with various layers of testing
Not constrained by a specific language/tool and is ready to embrace and learn new technologies
Eager to adopt new technologies or tools when necessary

Description
The San Diego Infrastructure team (SDI) works on several large scale services that provide music recognition capabilities. This includes the recognition backend that powers the Shazam Apps. We also provide recognition services that support other Apple Music products.

The systems and services we own are primarily written in Go and run on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and rely heavily on Kubernetes technologies for deployment and operations. We are a team of full stack engineers responsible for software development, DevOps and SRE. We design, build, deploy and operate our services end to end. We are passionate about testing, automation and monitoring. We also invest heavily in building WebUI tools (using react) to manage our systems.

As part of the team, you will support the constant evolution of our existing systems and processes. You will also explore new technologies and contribute to the next generation of systems by finding new and better solutions to both existing problems and problems we have yet to discover

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or related discipline.
