You are a full stack engineering team leader who leans toward product thinking and is adept in agile practices. You enjoy participating in large in large modernization initiatives. You feel comfortable lead several offshore teams totaling 15  developers. You enjoy honing your skills to learn and adapt new technologies and working outside of your comfort zone. You understand the “why” of building products is just as important as the “how”. 

What Your Days Will be Like:

• Lead daily standup calls, looking for timeline slippage, and maintain a healthy project velocity
• Contribute to weekly reviews and bi-weekly sprint kickoff sessions
• Work with Product and Project Management leads to scope, design, and update project development
• Identify opportunities for your developers to overcome challenges and grow
• Foster a sense of openness and transparency with your team
• Raise issues as needed to get ahead of possible problems

What You'll Be Working On: 

• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to ensure the highest quality product platform 
• Collaborate with product, design, and other stakeholders to produce cutting-edge software solutions at scale 
• Develop highly available and highly scalable applications 
• Generate technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests 
• Shape development processes to promote a high-quality output in a continuous learning environment 
• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members 

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Experience leading the development of scalable, multi-tier applications
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced growing environment
• Experience deploying solutions to AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience building websites and Micro Services/SOA
• Experience with relational databases, document databases, and key/value stores
• Strong experience with the following:
  • Java
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • GraphQL
  • REST
• Some experience with the following:
  • Golang
  • GRPC
  • React
  • JavaScript
  • HTML/CSS
