Job Duties

  • Assess deliverables of team members and provide feedback and guidance
  • Interview and assess candidates
  • Collaborate with project managers to understand customer problems holistically when designing features and the product roadmap
  • Partner with project managers to prioritize roadmaps based on customer needs and business objectives
  • Perform code reviews and inspections
  • Drive design brainstorming within engineering team
  • Research and understand new technologies
  • Analyze process improvements for project and team efficiency
  • Telecommuting permitted 40-60% per week.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Security Technology & Management, or related, and 8 years of experience in job offered or related occupations
  • 5 years of experience in single-page application development in Javascript, particularly with React.JS
  • 5 years of experience in developing VOIP and SMS products at scale
  • 5 years of experience in product development involving real-time networking protocols
  • 3 years of experience in front-end application development using React framework
  • 5 years of experience in product development involving programming languages Typescript, Javascript, and C++
  • 2 years of experience in developing communications applications deployed on millions of devices
