As our next Software Engineer Lead & Architect, you will work in various technology stack including Java, React, Apigee, Cloud integration leverages microservices to name a few. As part of this role, you will be driving the design and implementation of features and capabilities for multiple projects. Strong cross functional team development, bright enthusiastic self-starter, analytical and problem solving skills, and excellent communication/presentation skills all a must!
As a member and manager of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices• Problem solving, excellent verbal and written communication skills• Experience in large-scale software development in one or more programming language and portfolio management• Expertise in working in partnership with colleagues throughout a large organization and influencing teams and partners to achieve common goals• Strategic planning (e.g., roadmap creation and execution), problem solving, excellent verbal and written communication skills • Passion for people leadership and building an innovative culture• Drive architecture, design, and business processes• Experience with modern architectures and practices including microservices, micro frontends, and domain driven design• Experienced in modern programming languages such as CORE Java, Maven, JavaScript, REACT, Core Spring, Springboot, RESTful/JSON/XML, web services frameworks and related software engineering platforms/frameworks• Experience with modern architectures and practices including microservices, micro frontends, and domain driven design• Cloud native design principles including 12-Factor app design principles and Domain Driven Design• Private and public cloud native application design and engineering (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc), containers experience helpful (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)• Experience with relational databases and an ETL tool such as informatica• NoSQL experience, especially ElasticSearch, Cassandra etc. is desirable• Working knowledge of Version Control Systems like git, subversion etc• Experience with JavaScript Testing Frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, JEST Unit Testing and JavaScript build tools (WebPack, Grunt )• Experience with design and development of REST API platform using APIGEE or similar• Experience configuring Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools such as Jenkins• Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces• Experience with Agile methodology and DevOps Practices• Experience in building microservices using Pivotal Cloud Foundry / AWS• An understanding of other cloud-based technologies (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS)
Alternate minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in software development for large, complex enterprise environments, or related experience.
