Description:
Software Engineer who works largely independently within defined projects/work streams and is checked on end results. Has an executional role in design and development projects or acts as an expert tester who designs test scripts and provides overall project guidance and planning support. Advises internally on solving functional and technical problems regarding the assigned applications and Infrastructure.

This role is based in Houston, Texas.

FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The SD Engineer works closely with clients to execute their strategy in taking advantage of differentiating information technology capabilities available through PDC.
• The SD Engineer brings solution architecture, implementation guidance, and best practices to planning and implementing the migration to PDC.
• The SD Engineer is technically accomplished, organized, personable, and driven, going deep into the technical intricacies, and coordinating technical project deliverables across PDC, Support, and other teams.
• In addition to the client focus, the SD Engineer is a contributor to practice development initiatives to create a repeatable and scalable solution delivery operation.
• These initiatives evolve based on the operational maturity of the team and may include driving or participating in efforts related to building client roadmaps through the PDC technical capabilities, bundling of PDC offerings, creation of communication and education materials, and working with Product Managers to build supportability and adoption into the products.
• This role is if you are passionate about client success, knowledgeable about solution architecture and cloud technologies, collaborative, diplomatic, and creative in figuring out ways to get things done.
• SD Engineer works under the guidance of Solution Advisory Leads and SD Advisors, partnering on all aspects of client delivery and practice development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Introduce clients to PDC technical capabilities through demos, presentations, blog posts.
• Together with Product Managers and client team, define the scope and success of each project.
• Define solution architecture and project plan for each client engagement.
• Serve as a technical advisor and hands-on mentor to the client technical team.
• Serve as a client advocate and source of client knowledge to the internal team.
• Turn project artifacts into reusable materials to help future and build a scalable.
