Position Summary:
The OnBase Software Engineer will assist with the configuration and administration of the OnBase electronic document management system. They will work with the OnBase team to help identify business requirements and translate them into OnBase processes to efficiently support the customers.
Define moderately complex business/clinical/education problems by meeting with clients to observe and understand current processes and the issues related to those processes. Provide written documentation of findings to share with the client and other IT colleagues.
Gather moderately complex system requirements by meeting with clients and researching existing technology to understand the business requirements and possible solutions for new applications.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits or 18 graduate degree credits = 1 year of experience. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college coursework may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
Experience:
5-7 years related experience.
Technical qualifications or specialized certifications:
- OnBase Certified Systems Administration
- OnBase Certified API Developer
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Experience with document imaging. Experience with customers in diverse environments. Ability to work with customers to identify needs and implement them in OnBase. Ability to produce required documentation for internal and external use such as technical documentation, flow diagrams, user manuals, etc.
- OnBase and OnBase Workflow
- Object oriented programming (.NET preferred)
- Relational databases (SQL preferred)
- Basic scripting languages (HTML, XML, or JavaScript)
- Basic UI design
- Application Lifecycle Management
- Workflow creation
- API Development
