Our services span collectible coins, trading cards, video games, event tickets, autographs, and memorabilia through our subsidiaries, which include Professional Sports Authenticators (PSA), Professional Coin Grading Services (PCGS), Wata, Certified Coin Exchange (CCE), Collectors Corner, Set Registry, Collectors.com, and the Long Beach Expo collectibles trade show. We’re looking for Software Engineers for our Platform (CloudOps, DevOps, ML, Internal Software) & Solutions (PCGS, Collectors Set, Price Guide, Submissions, Certification, Wata, Solutions Infrastructure) Engineering Teams. You’ll play a lead role in our cross-functional scrum team of engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to develop easily testable and understandable solutions for internal & external use. We're looking for engineers who are ambitious, quick to learn, practical and outcomes driven. We value people who can quickly obtain a deep technical understanding of new domains, and enjoy working highly independently to solve our most important problems.
We have a wide variety of needs across the engineering organization - most roles are remote friendly, however we have select positions that require a hybrid onsite presence.
What You’ll Do:
- Participate across the entire software development lifecycle, taking features from concept to production release
- Solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions while adhering to coding and architectural standards
- Troubleshoot software issues and debug a large codebase
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests
- Contribute to technical documentation to increase maintainability of software assets
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of software engineering industry experience building professional applications
- 2+ years experience with an object-oriented language such as: C# (preferred), C++, Java, Python
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL or MySQL
- Familiar with client-side frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue
- Familiar with cloud technology solutions such as AWS or Azure
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Possess strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to visualize and document processes
- Knowledgeable about algorithms, data structures and best practices
- Understanding of how to create modular and extensible APIs
- Proficient at using appropriate security, testing, documentation, and/or monitoring best practices
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
