The candidate will join a talented team of engineers focused on 1) designing, prototyping, and developing solutions, 2) leveraging existing and new technologies, and 3) delivering a secure, fast, and scalable user experience.
Job Description

The CTO is looking for a Software Engineer, with an interest in sensor technologies for our team in Boston, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, multidisciplinary team to design, assess, prototype, and build exciting technology. You will directly contribute to the full lifecycle of projects.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in C++ and Python.

• Experience working with embedded systems and sensor hardware.

• Strong problem solving abilities, attention to detail, ability to critically review work, and understanding of computer science fundamentals (OOP, multithreading and concurrency, memory management, I/O timing, and complexity analysis).

• Highly self-motivated with a desire to explore new approaches and technologies.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

A strong candidate may also have:

• Hands-on experience prototyping systems that include hardware, software, and networking.

• Experience with algorithm development and machine learning libraries.

• Familiarity with microservice and API architecture.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git.

Basic Requirements

• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of professional software development experience OR masters degree with 1+ years of professional software development experience
