As part of our Forge Developer Experience team, you will be developing and collaborating to standardize our SDK platform to help other developers, our customers, to make their life easier by creating SDK generation tools, producing bundled SDKs for multiple services across Autodesk. You will be identifying other teams' challenges and enabling them to build SDKs. You will be part of a team that provides support to thousands of developers across the globe, and you will be part of the evolution automating SDK generation with resiliency with multi-language support.

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs
  • Apply technical expertise to resolve challenging programming problems in a distributed environment
  • Develop and deliver frequently high quality, secure, stable code for use in products and solutions for customers, making it easier for other developers to maintain, enhance, reuse, and localize
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure new code conforms to standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, understand use cases and build towardsa cohesive technical strategy
  • Break down a large problem into smaller components to demonstrate product increments in sprint reviews
  • Self-starter, passionate about learning new technologies and solving business problems using these technologies

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience as a software developer
  • 2-3 years SDK experience
  • 2-3 years experience with web development language Python
  • Familiarity consuming and implementing REST APIs
  • Experience with Swagger API description language
  • Knowledge of build automation and CI/CD pipelines (preferable Jenkins)
  • Ability to understand problems, think critically, and devise solutions
  • Analytic, curious and perseverant when exploring solutions
  • Experience debugging scalable, high performance web applications built with reusability and componentization in mind



Preferred Qualifications

  • Great technical communication and experience working with technical customers
  • Autodesk products knowledge/experience
  • Experience with Agile software development practices
