Software Engineer

As our Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team and play a visible role in developing and directing software as you cross-collaborate with other industry-leading project partners.

Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to embrace an AGILE development methodology
- Understanding of AWS, Cloud Computing - AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (Developer)
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Experience with RESTful API's and web services technologies such as HTTP and REST
- Familiarity with the Spring Boot framework
- Understanding of Microservice Architecture
- Understanding of Security Principles
- Familiarity with NoSQL/Relational databases, such as CouchBase and MySQL
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant experience
- 1+ years of development experience with programming languages, including Javascript and TypeScript
- Boot Camp experience will be considered
- Proficiency in software engineering tools
- Outstanding critical thinking abilities and interpersonal communication skills
- Understanding of the software development life cycle
Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Design and test new software and fix bugs
- Participate in pair programming
- Work alongside a client's engineering team(s)
- Document services worked on as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to communicate project status and proposals and execute project plans
- Monitor system performance
- Apply best practices and standard operating procedures
- Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
The target salary range is up to $85k based on skills and past experience.
