At Tableau, we are on a mission to help people see and understand data. We create intuitive and powerful analytics software that enables thousands of leading organizations and millions of people around the world to find insights in their data.

The Visualization Pipeline team is responsible for orchestrating the data transformations and analytical functions to produce user interactable visualizations. We solve problems like how to apply changes efficiently, figure out how to fit multiple charts in one visualization, and how to collect and apply user interaction with the visualization. Some parts of our pipeline code runs on the hardware on desktop and server, and is written in C++. Other parts of our code runs as WebAssembly WASM in the browser.

Our team is adding new exciting API to Tableau to allow first time new experience to existing customers and new developers. As a member of our team you will design, and write new components, and services that run inside our product and as a stand alone micro-service. You will have an opportunity to design and implement a new API that will become the standard for Tableau analytic visualizations internally and externally.

We are looking for self motivated, fast learning individuals who get the work done and are good team players. You will work with multiple teams to understand their requirements, and help them implement solutions with our new API. You will also investigate and collaborate on concurrency, security and performance challenges on both hardware and in browser platform.

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $98,900. You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
