The impact you’ll make:

As a Software Engineer in Test (VR), you'll be a force-multiplier working on continuous integration and testing automation frameworks for the VR client app. You will build a robust infrastructure for the development team to create test flows and automate testing of the many features of the app. You value thoroughly testing before releasing to customers and are interested in the challenge of hooking scaffolding into the app architecture to automate testing as thoroughly as possible.

Along with deep and broad software development expertise, the ideal candidate will bring a passion for mentoring teammates and reviewing each other's code to constantly raise the bar.

What you’ll do:

  • Help deliver innovative solutions to drive the advancement of our live products at scale
  • Stay informed on and adapt to a rapidly evolving software and hardware ecosystem
  • Build a general purpose framework for automating unit/integration tests for the VR client
  • Help other developers use the framework to create test flows with high coverage
  • Evolve our CI/CD process to ensure that all aspects of the app are thoroughly tested as often and quickly as possible
  • Review code and maintain high quality across the team
  • Actively participate in engineering process improvement discussions

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • CS, Software Engineering or an equivalent degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Two or more years working in an engineering environment relevant to the listed responsibilities
  • Professional Unity or Unreal development experience and expertise with C++/C#
  • Experience building and using automated testing frameworks for UI intensive applications

Bonus points for:

  • Familiarity with the modern .NET ecosystem outside of Unity

  • Our offices are currently closed due to COVID-19. Post COVID, we are giving you the flexibility to work from home should you choose to do so. Working hours: We operate within the Pacific time zone for collaboration
