As a new Software Engineer in Test on our team, you will be working with a talented, passionate, and collaborative team of engineers, product managers and experience designers to transform the ways applications are built within small companies to large enterprise customers.

 

Upcoming Projects:

  • Improve elasticity of the platform by updating legacy infrastructure to be scalable on demand.
  • Migrate the platform's infrastructure to Linux and away from Windows.
  • Focus on creating and extending automated and functional testing

 

You at Quickbase:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in quality and software test automation
  • You have prior experience and familiarity with API test automation and associated frameworks
  • You have familiarity with coding or scripting in Java, C#, C++, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of performance tools and backend benchmarking beneficial
  • You have knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices and working in an agile environment
  • You are comfortable working with and influencing cross-disciplinary teams of product designers, software developers, and quality engineers
  • You derive job satisfaction from delighting customers with quality deliverables 

What will you be doing: 

  • Working closely with other development and QA engineers to understand needs, problem solve issues, and propose or implement solutions
  • Contributing to building automated tests across the technology stack to support end-to-end feature quality
  • Helping evolve testing best practices and patterns in order to improve overall quality, speed, and efficiency
  • Be the quality advocate for your team
  • Educating and influencing others on quality, best practices, processes, and testing methodologies and approaches
  • Collaborating and sharing learnings with other quality minded individuals as a part of our Quality Community of Practice
