Job Description:
As a Software Engineer on the Clinical Automation Team, you will be involved in developing business solutions by creating new tools and modifying existing software tools that provide business efficiencies. You will be a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting automation tools to deliver business value.
Primary responsibilities include:

• Writes Visual Basic code in the .NET framework that performs automated functions for business operations
• Participates in peer reviews of designs and code of other team members
• Reviews and provides feedback on business requirements
• Adheres to the development practices for source code management, release management, time tracking, coding standards, and other development practices, including the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policy
• Research system issues, which includes analyzing information, reading source code, and understanding issues to identify potential solutions; explains the issue and findings to other team members
• Provides work estimates and status on development assignments to the product owner
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality under requirements of federal and state law, including HIPAA

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience developing applications in Visual Basic
• 1+ years of experience with HTML Document Object Model

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework
• Experience working in the Microsoft Visual Studio IDE
• Experience using Windows API methods
• Experience with GitHub or similar branching source control
• Experience with creating automation tools or automating workflows
• Experience with Selenium framework
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
