Software Engineer, Student Platform
As a Student Platform software engineer, you'll be working on a fast-moving and product-driven team to design, develop, prototype, test, and deploy features that define the Udacity Student Experience, which includes a new and improved Classroom with dynamic search and 24/7 expert-mentor support.
You will work directly with our designers, product managers, user researchers, and engineering leaders to help shape the product and system architecture, ensuring that the Student Experience scales for millions of learners and some of the top companies in the world.
Our backend is a polyglot-microservices architecture with an emphasis on Go, GraphQL, and Node/TypeScript, paired with React+Redux frontends.
What You'll Do:
- Master a complex ecosystem of microservices.
- Drive new feature development across the Student Experience.
- Architect and design high-performing and robust engineering solutions that scale.
- Ship code for an extremely-visible product, every day, for millions of users.

- Passion for building and maintaining systems that support high-profile products.
- Production experience with Go, GraphQL, and/or Node is preferred.
