We are looking for a data software engineer with a focus on NoSQL and event/stream processing data pipelines. You will architect and develop our AWS data platform to solve data-driven use cases across the organization. This platform will be home to data products and data science products that improve and elevate the Greenlight customer experience.

What you will be doing:

• You will be building a data cloud platform that can handle both streaming and batch data processing
• Support and scale our NoSQL datastores (Redis, DynamoDB)
• Work closely with engineering to ensure teams are using database technology fit for purpose
• Expand our ability to stream data into the data lake to support near real-time access
• Monitor and improve uptime, reliability and monitoring for our data platform
• Work alongside the DBA, Data Engineering, Data Architecture and Data Science and Analytics teams to scale and grow our data capabilities

What you should bring:

• Experience with Airflow, Luigi, or other ETL scheduling technologies
• Experience with building resilient and reliable systems or data pipelines
• Experience with real-time/batch distributed systems like Kinesis, Kafka, Spark, Redis and/or Elastic search
• Experience building scalable data integration solutions using NoSQL databases (Redis, DyanamoDB, MongoDB)
• Implementation of RESTful API’s supporting system integrations
• Experience with DBT and snowflake is preferred
• Experience working with MLOps platform (Databricks, sagemaker etc) is preferred
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
