Are you an accomplished Software Engineer? This dynamic Software Engineer position is responsible for hands-on software engineering, , and scientific problem solving. As a Software Engineer you will be part of a growing Lockheed Martin team responsible for the engineering of Machinery Control and Automation Systems. You will work under only general direction and independently determine and develop approaches to solutions. Your work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years of experience (within the last 10 years) in software engineering
-Proficient in C++ and Java
-Demonstrated usage of program languages in a software engineering role.
-Engineer should have a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field.
-Demonstrated experience with full lifecycle agile software development projects
Desired Skills:
-Built-In-Test (BIT)
-Hardware in the Loop (HWIL)
-Software in the Loop (SIL)
-MATLAB experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
