About The Team
The team is engaged in the core development of a middle office space multi-tenant product which would be deployed across various clients for their use. This team is a mix of highly motivated and very talented senior developers, fresh college graduates, business analysts and quality assurance specialists.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be working with the engineering team in the capacity of a senior developer. Your primary focus will be on developing core features of the product using cutting edge technology while supporting the application delivery and providing support and mentorship to the junior team members. In some cases, you will also be required to provide level three support to remediate any issues in the application running in production which might also warrant working beyond regular working hours to support the production issues while being present on call/ in person.
Your high-level duties and responsibilities while working in this role would include but not limited to the following:

  • Interact with technical architects and product managers to define system requirements and/ or necessary modifications
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
  • Write code and perform testing and debugging of application using current programming languages and technologies
  • Write documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
  • Train and communicate with internal client training, client relationship and sales teams on systems application
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and needed by the project


What You Bring

  • In depth understanding of design patterns and their applications
  • Expert level knowledge of Java and database programming in developing highly scalable, high throughput, fault tolerant and highly multithreaded software applications.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
  • Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take in making design decisions related to the application
  • Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts
  • Require in depth knowledge of networking, computing platform, storage, database security, middleware, network and system management and related infrastructure technologies and practices.


Added Bonus If You Have

  • Possesses knowledge/ experience of front-end development technologies like Angular JS
  • Possesses knowledge of dev ops/ build tools like docker, gradle, maven etc.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, agile etc.
