Kabbage, a leading FinTech innovator, was recently acquired by American Express. We're looking to grow our engineering team to continue building upon our innovative Kabbage platform as we launch new products and deepen relationships with small business owners.

What you'll be doing:

You will be delivering on our home grown multi tier Django customer management application currently in transition to latest angular using Material UI.
You will build and maintain micro apps that live within the Django app to manage service and operations requirements to manage bulk changes.
The Django app interacts with many of our platform c# api's which support both customer ingest and our enterprise systems. You will regularly add new connections to these within our ecosystem.
You will integrate with several third party apis to both manage user access and deliver customer states within the Django app.
This role overlaps data management for our enterprise systems. You will also have the opportunity to build microservices using databricks, python, and scala.
The role will also create microservices within AWS using Lambda, SNS and SQS.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience with Python application development using Flask or Django
Exposure to micro-services is a plus within AWS using lambda, SNS and SQS.
Some experience with scala or Pyspark
Experience building Angular or React front ends.
Exposure to micro-services is a plus within AWS using lambda.
Experience with preprocessors like LESS or SASS
Built projects integrating with 3rd party apis requiring REST and oAuth knowledge
Bonus Experience using Docker, Terraform, Build Pipelines and potentially some Python experience
Two or more years of relevant experience is ideal.
