Job Description:
The L3Harris Commercial Aviation Systems sector is seeking new grad Embedded Software Engineers to join the Aviation Communication & Surveillance Systems team. This position is open to either December 2021 or May/June 2022 graduates.
- Performs software engineering tasks for Commercial Avionics embedded software development projects in a dynamic environment
- Tasks include working with a team of engineers developing and implementing software requirements, coding, and detailed design documentation. The role will encompass development perspectives of software requirements test cases, verification procedures, software branch coverage analysis, code debug, pre and post-integration test, internal and external problem report investigation, analysis, and resolution
- Additional tasks will include generation of DO-178B documents, maintenance of in-house software tools. and contributing to process improvement activities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3.0 GPA minimum
Preferred Qualifications:
- C, C++, Python experience
- Embedded software engineering coursework and/or projects
