Department Overview911 Datamaster, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, has for the past 20+ years been in the business of providing software solutions for 911 call routing and the management of 911 data for call routing.
Job Description

This position is open to all remote candidates based in the US.

We are looking for a Software Developer to be part of a scrum team that focuses on software solutions relating to the management of 911 data and its use in routing 911 calls. This is a full time remote (work from home) position. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a small scrum development team and help elevate our existing solutions and innovate new solutions in an ever changing public safety industry.

Your Impact:

• Successful candidate will be working on modifying existing applications and develop new applications

• Role requires working independently and in pair programming scenarios for both design, construction, and testing of software applications

• Provide guidance and mentor junior staff on continuous improvement of software design/construction tradecraft

Who you are:

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a Software Development role working on full stack software applications

• Understanding of software design principles, defensive programming techniques, and software testing and automation

• Proficient in .Net (mostly C#), Javascript, and MS SQL Server (TSQL)

  • Exposure to working with business logic at the database level

  • Proficient at providing UI/UX experiences

• Proficient at working with Azure DevOps / Git / Azure Pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of working with 911 data is highly desired

• Experience with Esri Stack is a plus

• Knowledge of working on cloud platform (e.g. Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

• Bachelors or Masters degree
