We are seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join our Mobile Integrity team. Our team's mission is to ensure the integrity and security of all mobile applications on the Uber platform. As a part of the team you will build frictionless ways to detect and deter app tampering, emulators, and system compromise. You will also have the opportunity to provide guidance to other engineers and ensure best practices are followed in the mobile security space. The team is looking for a candidate with mobile development experience and a solid understanding of the anatomy of apps and processes. Experience with software security technologies is a bonus.
Basic Qualifications

• Experience with Android or iOS development.
• 2+ years of industry experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• Knowledge of the low-level anatomy of apps and processes.
• Experience with C and at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g. Java, C++, Python).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or bypassing software security features.
