SUMMARY / ABOUT THE JOB
The Perception Team at Anduril is developing software at the intersection of machine learning, computer vision, and sensor fusion. We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our Machine Learning Operations (ML Ops) group. The ML Ops group develops software to manage and automate the machine learning lifecycle:
- Data pipelining
- Data annotation tooling
- Automation of Model Training
- Model Evaluation & Regression Testing
- Model Validation
- Model Deployment
In your role, you will develop software for a critical component of Anduril’s products used by our customers around the world. You thrive working in a fast paced, outcome driven work environment developing mission critical software for the United States and her allies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience developing production grade software
- Passion for automating machine learning workflows
- Interest in working on challenging engineering problems related to machine learning, computer vision, image & video processing
- Proficiency in Python, Docker, CircleCI, Linux
- Experience or familiarity working with microservices architecture
- Experience with C++
- Passion for defending the United States and her allies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with the following are a big plus:
- Automating various aspects of the machine learning lifecycle
- Deploying quality machine learning models in production
- Workflow management tools such as airflow, kubeflow, etc.
- PyTorch, or other deep learning frameworks
- Image processing libraries such as OpenCV
- C++ for edge ML applications
- C++ inference engines such as TensorRT
- Go programming language
- Front-end UI / Javascript
- developing and working with gRPC services
- Multithreading and multiprocessing
- Knowledge of and experience with NixOS (http://nixos.org)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
