Summary

The Software Engineer would design and develop technical solutions using multiple technologies for business systems and sub-systems spanning multiple lines of business regionally and internationally. In this role, you would design, code, test and implement complex programs. Ideal candidate will be comfortable providing technical expertise for business systems. You will have the opportunity to analyze problems within system logic and makes programmatic changes to ensure proper integrity. You will also provide technical leadership and guidance when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure solutions, enhancements and fixes to technologies supporting the business.
• Build and maintain effective internal and external partnerships with customers and vendors to ensure a high level of application service delivery.
• Drive knowledge sharing between teams and with IT Support structures to continually improve our overall knowledge base.
• Manage production deployments with vendors, or internal IT Teams, to ensure timely resolution to defects and enhancements when required.
• Perform unit testing of deployments in development environment to ensure minimal customer impacts.
• Provide on-call support as assigned.

Relevant Experience

• Expertise in at least one of the following areas: Software development, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Angular, Typescript, Cloud (Azure/AWS), CI/CD pipelines, IaC, source control, Object Oriented principles, Common software design patterns, and software development best practices.
• Experience in database development using SQL and the ability to breakdown complex stored procedures and nested views.
• Willingness to participate in a learning culture where you contribute to leveraging new and existing technologies and work to educate the rest of the team.

Other Information

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in software development (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
• Experience with configuration of web servers and a good understanding of windows server configuration.
• Interest/experience in event-driven development, Message Oriented-Architecture, Containerization, and/or Domain-Driven design a plus.
