Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in Python, C, C , Java, or JavaScript, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 2 years of experience with front-end frameworks, full-stack development, and/or API development.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Deep technical knowledge of mobile application development in Android or iOS.
• Knowledge of UI frameworks (i.e. Android, iOS, or XML), mobile video programmatic application design, and complex and reactive touch based UI.
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Lead projects with varied technology (e.g., JavaScript/HTML, Android, iOS).
• Design and implement new user-facing features in Google's mobile applications.
• Optimize mobile applications on the Android/iOS platform.
• Develop mobile applications in Objective-C/Swift or Java for multiple platforms.
