Delivers moderately complex solutions including designs, coding, testing, debugging, and the documentation to meet the enterprise performance and architecture standards. Focus on customized coding, configurable solutions, software integration, application/technology migrations, and analysis using various enterprise standard tools such as Microsoft BI. Works independently on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities. Provides direction in the development and maintenance of solutions as well as participates in various phases of the development life cycle including production support. Applies an understanding of key business processes and practical experience to solve a range of straightforward problems. Analyzes possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents. Works under moderate supervision.

Software Engineer II

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degreeand four to seven years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Knowledge of specific applications, technology platforms, programming languages, systems and 4-7 years of hands-on experience. Preferred Banking, or Capital Markets, or Investment Compliance experience.

Expertise in one or more of the following: Database platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server, TSQL/ PLSQL/ Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence: Microsoft BI tools (preferably SSIS and SSRS).

Knowledge of one or more of the following: Unix, Distributed (e.g. JEE, .Net, Middleware, WebServices) Database platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server. Experience with build tools, such as Git, Maven, or Jenkins.
