Software Engineer II
We are looking for a Software Engineer on the Engineering Insights team to identify and drive key analytics and engineering initiatives that improve Disney Streaming’s engineering ecosystem. You will be a crucial member of the Engineering Insights team, responsible for identifying and building solutions for insights that improve the reliability, performance, and user experience across Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu.
The Software Engineer role will be working on building software applications to improve the performance and reliability of our media streaming platform and applications. By creating real-time insights and observability tools, they will decrease the number of issues users experience. This will allow service teams to see how a new production canary deployment affects specific devices and users. This role will require a team to write code consuming our events from both services and clients and using trend analysis with the correct ruleset to implement anomaly detection with root cause analysis. This will allow safer production deployments (both services and clients) while enabling quicker responses to incidences.
Whether you’re in New York, California, Seattle, or remote, we provide opportunities to elevate your career and to transform an industry.
