Job Description
JOB
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer II in Durham, NC, to prepare lower and higher-level environments with the required configuration for the proposed stories. Participate in design meetings. Plan the development life cycle for Banker, Teller and Online Account Opening features. Develop code using Java 8 features including Lambda expressions, Functional Interfaces, streams, Date time API, map, reduce, optional and threading. Produce and consume RESTful webservices using Jboss RESTEasy. Implement an abstract level service to make the REST API calls. Implement Security for REST API using OAUTH2, JWT and Cert with configurable expiration and fails the calls for invalid tokens. Consume SOAP webservice with WSDL and generate java proxy objects using ANT maven plugin. Fix issues with WSDL's and create port to make the API calls. Use Spring xml to configure beans. Create and setup micro service projects by slicing the functionality and adding routes for internal API calls between micro services. Build and deploy codes on local machines and on OpenShift deployment servers. Create and setup the Sonar Lint, SonarQube for code quality analysis for all projects and propose solutions for code smells and critical issues. Provide solutions to development teams to make clean codes. Utilize design patterns in the development stage for clean and better code patterns using Singleton, Builder, Prototype, Decorator and Factory. Separate common code to util classes to reduce duplicate code. Use java generics for addressing multiple functionalities to reduce API memory footprint. Calculate API performance using multi-threading and optimize performance by addressing memory leaks and design flaws. Implement standalone programs to generate static code utilizing use case to improve the code efficiency and reduce the time. Create algorithms to address complex functionalities and reduce API calls based on search key utilization. Generate proxy objects from XSD, Swagger, and WSDL files using maven ANT, swagger plugins and XJC commands. Maintain hibernate entity mappings and implement successful deployment using DDL and DML changes. Write PL/SQL queries in Oracle and SQL Server databases using SQL Developer and SSMS tools. Integrate codes using the Jenkins integration tool with Maven build tool configuration. Write automate test cases to run the code through different sets of data using Junit, Mockito frameworks.
REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: utilizing technologies, tools, and frameworks including Windows, Linux, Unix Servers, Java/J2EE JDK, Web services using JAX-WS (SOAP), JAX-RS (REST), Spring, Micro Services, Hibernate, JPA, Entity Management, Jboss, RestEasy, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJs, OAUTH2, JWT, Sonar Lint, SonarQube; building and deploying use cases with Jenkins CICD tool and OpenShift; preparing development, testing, and production environments for application servers, web servers, database servers during the pre-production and post-production activities stage; writing PL/SQL queries in Oracle, SQL Server databases; using SOAP UI and postman for web services testing; and performing unit testing by writing test cases using Junit and Mockito. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home is permissible.
