Deliver moderately complex solutions. Design, code, test, debug, and document moderately complex application solutions that meet defined business requirements and the enterprise performance and architecture standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. • Customize coding, software integration, perform analysis, and configure solutions, using tools that are pertinent/required for the area to which the person is assigned.• Conduct robust unit testing and provides support for subsequent release testing.• Provide escalated support for applications in production.• Work independently on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.• Provide direction in the development and maintenance of solutions as well as participates in various phases of the development life cycle.• Works under moderate supervision to analyze possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents to solve a range of straightforward problems.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• High School diploma or GED• Two years of experience as a developer or an equivalent combination of education and work experience• Knowledge in information systems and ability to apply that knowledge in practice• Ability to manage competing priorities• Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents• Experience participating in IT solutions• Ability to communicate complex information in straightforward situations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with COBOL, JCL, and DB2
• College degree in Computer Science, math or related field of study• Three years of experience in IT• Degree or training related directly to software engineering• Knowledge of specific applications, systems, or business segments, specifically Capture Systems/Item Processing (CPCS)• Banking or financial services experience.• Knowledge of one or more of the following: Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills• Professional experience building apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level• Experience with Open Source tools and frameworks
