Software Engineer I
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer on our Shared Services team, you'll be working in a team environment seeking to be innovative, efficient and product focused. This team supports a wide range of applications across our Retirement Investment division and works primarily with internal teams in the department and across the enterprise.

Here is how you will fill your day:
- Able to, with guidance, work with your team as we seek to implement new technologies, build in security from the beginning, improve our coding practices, provide scale and performance capabilities, and evolve our engineering culture
- Assist in exploring cloud technology and scale cloud capabilities over time, including knowing the latest industry trends
- Participate in code/design reviews and learning technical design
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that test and deploy software, data, and infrastructure artifacts across managed environments
- Own continuous improvement in yourself, your team, and the solutions you build

Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) or equivalent experience
- Software engineering/programming experience (professional, academic, or community exposure)
- Must have the desire to learn new technology and continuously grow
- Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required
- Eagerness and proven ability to learn
- The ability to handle some on call responsibilities
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range
$49300 - $96000 / year
