The role:
You’ll be extending and maintaining full stack applications that will power Galileo client's configuration and enablement. This includes the software that processes card transactions and bank transfers, as well as the underlying infrastructure.
What you’ll do:
- Delivering resilient and scalable code
- Owning and ideating on technical solutions for product requirements and user stories with minimal supervision
- Write, test, and deploy efficient, scalable code to production that impacts millions of individuals
- Participating in code and design reviews
- Generating ideas for new initiatives and technologies
- Becoming domain experts on aspects of the payment processing industry
- Communicating engineering concepts and efforts with outside stakeholders in product marketing, operations, business, legal, and compliance
- Working in a fast-moving, highly-collaborative environment across multiple offices
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree, in a technical field
- 3+ years full stack development experience, ideally with Angular or React and Python
- As part of our move to the cloud, we're running Kubernetes, AWS technologies like EKS/Lambda/RDS/Aurora/Dynamo, and more
- Agile Development Experience, including experience working with continuous deployment technologies, such as Git/Gitlab/Octopus etc
- Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews and managing pull requests.
