CLR software engineering team at Northwestern Mutual under Field Career area of Career Distribution is responsible for building high-quality modern applications used to help our clients service their products. We are seeking a strong Full stack software engineer skilled in Java and React or similar tech stack experience to join our team.
This position is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Applies engineering best practices in order to analyze and develop software solutions
Develops software using established development and continuous integration practices
Utilizes established monitoring and automation processes
Conducts code evaluations
Participates in setting team standards and best practices
Monitoring and troubleshooting applications, services, and systems for performance and issues

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
2+ years professional engineering experience with coding in languages JavaScript, Typescript, Java, React, Angular
Familiarity using continuous integration and deployment concepts
Experience working in Agile frameworks
Familiarity with public cloud and associated technologies (AWS, Azure, Containerization)
Strong technical skills
Able to mentor new team members
Can communicate clearly to the business

Compensation Range:
Pay Range - Start:
$80,920.00
Pay Range - End:
$115,600.00
