Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking a Software Engineer who will be focused primarily on working as closely to the data and end users as possible. This position will support our Intelligence Division.

Support a high visibility effort modernizing and prototyping next-generation applications, frameworks, and tools that complement and support both analysts and operations. These operationally aligned teams perform Research-style work, rapidly integrating into mission, while modernizing the larger system and system-of-systems, introducing automation everywhere possible within the overall operations, tasking, and collection systems/platforms.

What you will do

• Using your previous analytic development expertise, you will support the CNO Mission on a team made up of varying skillsets that consist of UI/UX, middleware/backend, DevOps, and Data Science.

What you need to have

• Clearance: Must Possess and maintain a TS with Polygraph
• Three (3) years' experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
• Three (3) years' experience working individually or as part of a team to review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results and resolve software problem reports.
• Three (3) years' experience utilizing software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Three (3) years' experience providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
• Must have experience working with several of the following:
