About the job

This position is needed to take part in one of the teams in Account Security, collaborating with the team members to successfully deliver our new generation of account verification products, applying  best engineering practices.  

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with multiple R&D and product teams, crafting together software that developers around the world will leverage to deliver new applications.
  • Work on the design and implementation phases of Android Apps and SDKs, tackling some of the most complex and exciting technical problems in the industry.
  • Enable millions of consumers to do secure and frictionless sign up and sign in every day using the services from the global brands they trust.
  • Continuously adapt to the evolving Android ecosystem to maximize engineering efficiency
    • CI/CD pipeline
    • Android upgrade compatibility
    • Enhance automated tests

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of Android professional with experience in writing production level mobile applications and customer facing SDKs
  • Fluent in Kotlin, with experience in Java
  • Knowledgeable of the Android development ecosystem, frameworks, 3rd party libraries
  • Experience in the full mobile development cycle
  • Champion of automated build and test pipelines and test-driven development
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills: able to communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders in English
  • A healthy ability to manage and resolve conflict - you have the ability to listen, present, and question effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 3 years of experience with software development lifecycle and processes.
     

Desired:

  • Expertise developing for other developers
  • CI/CD, Test automation
  • iOS development experience

Location 

This position will be located in Colombia, either in our Bogota office or remote.
