This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office an average of two to three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.
Job Summary
As a part of Compliance Technology, the Analyst - Software Engineer will support Americas Financial Crimes Compliance (AFCC) by designing and developing data processing solutions using SAS , Oracle PL/SQL, Transact SQL, and scripting languages including Unix shell scripting and Python. The Analyst will work closely with business analysts, developers to understand requirements and create Functional Design Documents, Detailed Design Documents, Data Sourcing Documents and Unit Test Plans. The Analyst will also work with Production Support to diagnose and remediate production issues.
The Analyst will work closely with geographically disbursed stakeholders across a variety of businesses and functions. The Analyst must be experienced in various Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, and have a solid understanding of technology and data.
Major Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop, implement and support data processing environments using SAS , Oracle PL/SQL, Transact SQL and scripting languages including Unix shell scripting and Python
- Analyze the impact of changes to various source systems to Compliance controls
- Create Functional Requirements Documents, Detailed Design Documents, Data Sourcing Documents and Unit Test Plans
- Diagnose production issues, design and create remediation, and work with Production Support to test and deploy fixes
- Perform performance testing and tuning of various SAS components
- Working with the compliance department to define business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Coordinating AML Platform implementation testing during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases of the project.
- Resolving complex technical problems
- Diagnose production issues, design and create remediation, and work with Production Support to test and deploy fixes
- Working with the compliance department to define business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Coordinating AML Platform implementation testing during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases of the project.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
- 2+ years of Design, Develop, Implement and support data processing environments using SAS and Oracle PL / SQL
- 2 plus years of experience with the impact analysis to various source systems related to Compliance controls
- 2 plus years of experience with Creating Functional Requirements Documents, Detailed Design Documents, Data Sourcing Documents and Unit Test Plans
- Ability to with Production support team to Diagnose production issues, design and create remediation, and work with Production Support to test and deploy fixes
- Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Coordinating with vendors and internal teams to perform SAS implementation though the complete project System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Conducting sessions with upstream systems team to identify required data feeds
