Mosaic has recently announced an opening for a Software Development Manager to join our team. This is a high visibility role with a major impact on the organization's strategic initiatives. We are looking for experience that will help us level up our technology and data platforms. We are in the midst of a technology transformation and are looking for a dynamic leader that can help us drive results and support our business in a bigger, better, and more efficient way.

This position is responsible for leading a team of Software Developers in the design, building, and maintenance of custom built business applications. They will advocate for and implement advanced technical standards and emerging industry best practices, including (but not limited to) composable architecture, container management, test automation, CI/CD automation, and orchestration. They will manage a development backlog to deliver software for business workflows, data integration and warehousing.

A Day in the Life:

* Manage a small DevOps team to support front office, middle office, and back office workflows.
* Define and adhere to SDLC methodology
* Partner with infrastructure and security teams to implement IaC, monitoring tools, etc.
* Manage and facilitate product releases (branching, versioning, tagging, event hooks)
* Implement tools and practices to prevent security breaches and other exposures. Champions a DevOps security model so that security is automated and elastic across all platforms
* Perform root cause analysis for production errors
* Facilitate product rollouts, fixes, and updates as needed

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Science, Management Information Systems or a related field preferred and 8-10 years of software development.
* Experience as a manager or team lead. Experience in a healthcare organization preferred.
