As an SDET at Swimlane, you will play a key role in automating our Quality Assurance testing and confirming the integrity of our software and production environments. Developing and executing Automated Tests through Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment is the main goal of yours.

Requirements
- JavaScript, Python, and Linux Experience
- Demonstrated "Developer Mindset" with "Test Mentality"
- Experience with scripting for Continuous Testing in an Automation environment
- Experience with breaking and rewriting Automation code
- Experience working in an Agile Development Environment (2-week sprints)
- Not afraid to put your manual testing experience to good use - willing and able to jump in and execute tests the old fashioned way
Responsibilities
- Active in the continuous testing of web service applications via Automation
- Responsible for the maintenance of and additions to the Automated Tests of 1-2 projects
- Oversee Automated test integration into the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
- Enhance and extend the Automation libraries
- Analyze and communicate test results and defect tracking
- Participate in day-to-day team activities as part of an Agile team
- Designs and authors test cases for API, functional, performance, scalability, and durability testing (where applicable)
- Teach others how to contribute to the Automation libraries and Automated Test Cases
- Code review others' contributions to the Test Automation suite
Nice To Have
- Previous experience in writing JavaScript
- Scripting in BASH
- Experience with Jenkins and VMWare
- Experience with Cypress
