  • You like working with relevant stakeholders to gather technical requirements, develop test cases, and requirements traceability
  • You’re passionate about working with automated testing tools, specifically on data intensive applications and writing automation test code and frameworks that can simulate complex-system scenarios
  • You have a java development background and take pride in developing highly optimized code
  • You have good communication (written and verbal) skills to present/demo your work on a regular basis
  • You can work independently and take ownership of your tasks to completion and enjoy working collaboratively with team members

You’ll love this position if you have… (This is the stuff you MUST have to be a fit)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • 2+ years of experience developing server-side applications with Java/Java Web Services RESTful (primary), WSDL, XML and supporting integration
  • 2+ years as a SDET, automation engineer or automation tester in all areas of the SDLC (Unit, Functional, Behavioral, Integration, End-to-End)
  • Automated testing experience includes Selenium and Junit/TestNG
  • Experience setting up automated testing pipelines using Jenkins and Linux scripting
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

We’ll REALLY love you if you…. (This is the bonus stuff that makes you stand out)

  • 2+ years with testing tools/libraries for API based testing using (REST Assured, JSON or Postman)
  • have written code that enhances API based testing using (REST Assured, JSON or Postman)
  • have working knowledge of Git and Maven
  • have experience with Continuous Integration methodologies and tools, including Jankins and Linux scripting
  • previously had ownership over the data quality of a product or project, including test planning and execution, and maintaining test scripts
  • You have experience with developing and deploying production facing web applications

What your day will look like:

  • Interact with a cross functional team of business analysts, developers, testers, scrum masters and product owners to design, development and implement features and capabilities
  • Design and implement automated test frameworks and tools to fill test gaps
  • Independently lead test automation efforts and research, recommend, and implement creative technical solutions enabling the customer to achieve full automation
  • Provide day-to-day support on testing related activities, such as creating and maintaining automated tests, researching new test software and reviewing test results
  • You’ll prioritize product releases in a CI/CD pipeline
