As part of the Product Experience and Strategy group, the Partners initiative is a set of new products and services with the aim to provide a comprehensive experience for our marketplace resellers, distribution channels, and professional services partners that encompasses the entire lifecycle from user and account management, campaign management and operations, to analytics and reporting.  We aim to create a view of our platform across the breadth of our services that is tailored to their needs and to provide the tools necessary to accomplish their goals in a performant and scalable fashion.

In this role you will:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of significant portions of the product development. 

• Help set the features, architecture, and best practices of the team, and have significant influence on our overall strategy.

• Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization.

• Create a reliable, scalable, and high performance service requiring exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems.

• Create complex solutions with an unrelenting focus on the customer experience.

Your qualifications are: 

• A proven record for setting a high bar throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing and operations. 

• A history of commitment to teamwork, hustle, and strong communication skills. 

• Experience with the delivery of large-scale, high-quality distributed systems.

• Experience developing high quality technology products in a dynamic environment.

• Experience with development and operations in cloud platforms preferred.

• A solid foundation in object oriented design patterns  and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Experience working on large scale deployments and performance tuning.

• Experience with security and user management preferred.

• 5+ years  experience building successful production software systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Your experience includes:

• Familiarity with a modern front-end framework such as Vue or React.

• Familiarity with Javascript and Node.js or another dynamic language.

• A solid foundation in a modern object oriented programming language.

• A solid understanding of the HTTP lifecycle and REST principles.

• Familiarity with  SQL and NOSQL databases, including design and performance testing.

• Experience with modern development tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
